Who We Are
Oyiza Orphanage and Foster Foundation is a non-governmental (NGO), nonprofit and charitable home, registered with Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Welfare Department and CAC.
The home was established basically as a charity organization with the focus to developing and improving the lives and living condition of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) that are victims of socio-economic and environmental crisis in our society.
These crises range from abandonment and neglect broken homes, children of beggars and the poor (less privileged) families to orphans from deceased parent(s). Oyiza orphanage and foster foundation was established by late Mrs Oyiza Janet Idris (JP) in 2005 before her demise on 2nd of December, 2007 at 45years after a brief illness at the University College Hospital Ibadan, Oyo State. The founder is survived by a son and a daughter who are both managing the organisation.
DONATE NOW TO HELP ORPHANS
Every day, many children die needlessly, just because they are poor and have no one to turn to. That is why, at Oyiza, we are working hard to deliver the most basic necessities of life – food, water, shelter, healthcare and education – to children in desperate need.
Transforming the life of an orphaned child doesn’t require a substantial investment. Simple essentials like high-protein nourishment to combat malnutrition, vaccines shielding against deadly diseases, and seeds to cultivate nutritious vegetables cost just a few pennies. However, their impact can be profound, often making the difference between survival and tragedy. Furthermore, providing access to education offers these children a glimpse of hope for a brighter future.
Your contribution, no matter how small, can bring about significant change in the lives of children who possess very little. Please consider making a donation today to extend your helping hand to those who need it the most.
What We Do
Collaboration
We collaborate with the security agents in states such as the Nigeria Police, Civil Defence and Nigeria Immigration for child’s protection and safety.
Provision
We put our best to fill the gap of parenthood for the entire children in the facility with an enabling environment to thrive in order to fit into the society.
Funding
We depend mostly on God, kind-hearted individuals, churches, clubs and some family for the home’s upkeep. However, we also engage in some farming activities.
